Poncho-Time

 Poncho-Time

In May my cousin Elin invited me to celebrate her birthday. Asking her and thinking about what would be nice to give her I saw this really nice poncho in a book a friend had lent me. What colours would be nice, then? Well My cousin is as blond as I am, even more blond, and with blue eyes so, I made her an mohair poncho in peacock colouring. When her mother-in-saw it she loved it so she asked me for one aswell, but in a different colour.

I then found this beautiful mixed coloured yarn, perfect for her colours, she has a darker complexion and so it would suit her better in this red/orange/and purple mix than in any blue colouring. It it now finished and sent off to her. I hope she is enjoying it.
The pattern beautiful but very simple: Two broad pieces made with big needle (5.00 or 5,5 ) and then crocheted together and a lining is then made. I got the Pattern from the book: Virka vackert by Tove Fevang.
